100% Chain of Custody For two generations, Finca Sircof operated under traditional methods. When faced with the risk of losing the family farm, Marco and Maricela took a bold leap—investing their life savings to build their own micro-mill right on the land. By taking total control of harvesting, wet milling, and processing, they elevated their coffee’s quality, guaranteed fair prices, and secured the farm’s future with 100% direct-trade traceability.

Terroir & Taste Blessed by the gentle weather and rich soils of Grecia, the coffee plants flourish next to protected forest areas. This lot highlights the rare San Roque varietal—a local Costa Rican natural mutation of the iconic Kenyan SL-28 cultivar known for its complex, fruit-forward acidity and deep sweetness. Honey processing marries the varietal's signature blackcurrant and berry brightness with a full, velvety body and a molasess finish.

How We Source Directly traded through the Farmers Project, every bag honors Marco and Maricela's vision of sustainable agriculture. Finca Sircof actively participates in NAMA (Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions), voluntary carbon-reduction initiatives that promote low-emission farming practices and protect the adjacent forest ecosystems.
